allow me to be frank ... vf4 evo ("evo") is really good, BUT that's it. it's not the best "this" or "that" of all time. at twenty bucks, it IS a really good value (not the best value of all time, just a really good one). and with improved graphics (so your eyeballs don't want to jump out of your head), two new characters (in general, vf needs more fighters in the series), a good amount of moves per character (though not eclipsing tekken or soul calibur), there is more than enough here to do before soul calibur 2 comes out. whether you continue to play this game after soul calibur 2 is released really depends on you. i honestly won't play it much after the release of the domestic version of sc2 - which i consider to be THE best fighting game of all time. but that's just me.
