The combat system is the best in the industry for MMO. It's intricate and very rewarding; it requires skill, strategy, and team work. You'll never play a game with a combat system as intense as Vindictus'. No more double click grinding. Intense, action packed combat with tons of skills, plenty of characters, and rewarding gears and customizations keep you playing. I have yet to discover the intricacies of the guild system in Vindictus like their involvement in PvP and such, but I know that it's not quite there yet. This game has the potential to be the most entertaining combat mmo you will have ever played. The one thing that is missing for me in this game is the PvP. You can have guild wars and the like, but I think this game suffers because PvP isn't "normalized." What I mean by this is that the game doesn't offer PvP settings. You can only duel players when you're partied with them during missions - you will likely ask to to duel them after you've defeated the boss. But that by itself is fricken awesome. However, if Nexon simply invested in a pvp system allowing for easier access to PvP, making it a more central theme of the game, this would get a 10/10 EASILY. Think of something like Diablo 2/LOD pvp system. It is easily accessible and simple.
So yeah, my only beef with this game is the not-yet-fleshed-out pvp system. Other than that: great graphics, great campaign, great characters, great customization . . . you get the point. Try this game out. It's FREE
