It may not have received sufficient recognition, but it is one of the best PS games so far.

The game may be outdated already but almost everything in this game rocks. The upgrades, sound, music, stages and gameplay are superb. The stage areas are really wide. almost all environmental buildings and structures are prone to damage and destructible. There are many music soundtracks to choose from. The gameplay catches the player to be addicted to the game. The damage in both cars and buildings can be evidently seen when fired upon by an opponent. The quest is also great; you will have to use strategy to finish the side-(Optional)quests. The fully upgraded automobile will look entirely different. The collision sounds are realistic and loud enough to be heard. Unlocking of extra cars will make you want to finish the game. It seems the game developers have abandoned a sequel for this superb game... But still, Vigilante will never be the same with the other games.
