What Is Far Cry 5's Endgame?

Far Cry 5 has an incredible story-driven campaign, but what do you do after you've beaten it on PS4, Xbox One, and PC?

Far Cry 5 pits you in a battle against a cult, sprawled over a huge terrain that is full of intense challenges and firefights, but once you've liberated the people of Hope County, what do you do next? Far Cry 5's endgame on PS4, Xbox One, and PC may not be immediately clear, but there are lots of activities to keep you engaged. Check out the video above for the GameSpot team's top tips on enjoying Far Cry 5's endgame.

First off, you'll want to make sure you don't miss any of Far Cry 5's weekly live events. In the menu, you can reset outposts after you've beaten the game, and that should help you complete events (depending on the objective) and score yourself some new outfits and weapons. Week one of the weekly events had us lighting animals on fire with a flamethrower and molotov cocktails, and week two had us head over to Arcade mode.

Speaking of, Far Cry 5's Arcade is full of awesome new maps and ways to play. Arcade is essentially a map editor, where you can create and play levels created by members of the community. Quality can vary, of course, but there are some great maps out there that give you a fresh take on the game and let you earn skill points to use in the story. For a look at some new, worthwhile maps, check out our list of the best Far Cry 5 Arcade maps of the week.

Of course, you could just spend the rest of your time in Far Cry 5 hunting and bass fishing, or you could build a full-on air force and blow some stuff up from the air. There are multiple ways to take the fight to the skies, from calling in Adelaide Drubman and her gunship for air support to buying your own helicopter complete with guns, rockets, flares, and high speed maneuverability.

How are you playing Far Cry 5's endgame? Have you settled down for a quiet life of hunting and fishing? Or are you exploring the Montana landscape from the sky? Watch our video above and let us know in the comments below.
