All this trailer does is show exactly how horrendous Michael Bay's Transformers movie designs are compared to the real Transformers. Blehg.

Why does the first one not look anything like Optimus Prime at all?

Because it's based on the idiotic Michael Bay movie designs. Blehg.

I can't tell if the game is bad, or if this presentation clip is what makes it look really bad.

The happiest time for me was when WFC & FOC were made as it followed the 80s transformers lore that most of us hold dear till this day. Bayformers was ok as an alternate reality type of thing, but this game... is pure blasphemy :'(

Yeah. i think i'll stick with the two games from High moon studios. not that this game doesn't look good but mixing the G1 transformers with the micheal bay versions is a pretty bad idea.

I'd much rather have High moon studios make a 3rd game and pick up where the 2nd game ended with the autobots and decepticons about to come to earth.

Games based on any movies usually are hit or miss.

Fall of Cybertron was a very good Transformers game despite the performance issues. However, this one seems to be doing it all wrong from the looks of it :S

So this game is not being made by the guy at High Moon studios, and another this was footage for that MMO Transformers game that I have been hearing about.

I really liked the G1 "modernized" look they did in the first two Cybertron games. It's a shame they're going to merge this with the Bayverse but, honestly, it shouldn't really be a surprise.

I don't think this would suck as much if they had used the Bayverse models from the beginning. Hopefully the game itself is still good. Will keep any judgements until I at least get to read some reviews when it's released.

Oh my god, this looks so bad its crazy. Seriously what have they been thinking? Do the men in ties at activision even slightly follow the gaming industry? Yeah giving some random company to make a transformers game is totally better than giving it to the company that already made 2 amazing transformers games. I loved the cybertron games, those were amazing, but this just looks like crap. I was so excited for a sequel and what we get is some movie tie in again.
