The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Graphics Comparison

They brightened up the colors and made things slightly less polygonal. They really outdid themselves.

People complaining that it now looks "too sharp" and "too shiny", but if they didn't even touch it up at all, people would be complaining that they didn't do enough, and it looks dated etc. Just can't please people. I think it looks great.

Will be a no brainer for me. Upgrading my 3DS XL at the same time because I have more money than sense. Wooooo

I wish they made more of the Collector's editions of this game. If Nintendo can crank out their Amiibos then the least they can do is crank out more Skull Kids!

I was sold on the idea when I remember how good Ocarina of Time looked on the 3DS.

I think I prefer the original N64 graphics over the 3DS. They seem darker and more faded in places, which suits the game a bit more.

I think one of my favorite things about this game was Link doing flips when you jumped over platforms. Why has no other Zelda game done this?

hm they couldn't borrow the great fairy from Hyrule Warriors?

it never looked that good on n64 thats not the original its way to sharp here, its like an emulated version or something so the whole comparison is a bit pointless really, go check out the real n64 version and you will see how fuzzy and blurry it really was

Yeah baby, screw a remaster, give me a remake. Looks pretty sweet.

Looks like they cleaned up the polygons, improved the textures, made the world more vibrant, added brush/undergrowth/eye candy, added lighting effects, fixed the frame rate issues and got rid of the "N64 fog".

I'm quite excited for this game :)

Incredible game. Oddly, I like the darker tones of the original, though there's no denying the new one looks better. It's a little too bright and happy go lucky for me.

Wow i guess i never realized how bad the framerate was in the original game. Looks like they've put a lot of work into this remake.

I'm torn on this. I think it looks pretty great, but changing art is always questionable. The bigger changes here are assuming that the original choices were mistakes or meaningless. I don't know. I might just find a way to play the original version.

Wow. I cannot wait. Between this and seeing Symphony of the Goddesses last week, I'm at a loss for words. I cannot wait for this game!
