It only took Gamespot 2 weeks to publish this video, but I suppose it's better late than never.
The gameplay looks amazing, especially the characters' mo-cap and voice acting. It seems like the carrier functions similar to the Normandy from Mass Effect, allowing you to wander around and talk to people, and nudges you to continue the story progression.
I don't know if the mission demo-ed in the vertical slice represents what most the missions will be like, but the gameplay diversity is impressive. The game seamlessly goes from open world exploration to a story-driven mission briefing with integrated cutscenes, taking off in a starfighter, exploring and dogfighting, then landing on a planet, and FPS combat. All without a single loading screen. And that's how the whole game will be. That's astounding!
Best of all, there will be more acting and dialogue from Mark Hamill in Squadron 42 than was in The Last Jedi!
