Graphics Comparison: The Last Of Us Remastered PS3 Vs. PS4

this comparison makes no sense,these are cuts scenes.show gameplay.

i never had a chance to play it on ps3, if it's a remake or not, i dont care, everybody is saying its a amazing full game, ill pay the price it deserve.

just take my money already..........sure i already played it, but of course i'll play it again, and again, and again.....

I hope we see a bigger leap than this in the following years. otherwise this gen isn't that great

Basically a resolution bump. I guess that's to be expected.

Will trophies transfer if I upgrade?

I think people dont realize that the remastered version runs at 60fps compared to the 24-30 of the original, as well as the graphical enhancements.

anyone who has played the original and watches the hq trailer would immediately realize the remaster is way better

This comparison is BS. The original was not that blurry, it looks like the footage was captured from a Youtube video.

Two things bothered me about this.

A. The graphical differences are minimal at best.

B. Now I have to buy TLoU and it's DLC again!!! Geezus...

Regaurdless of resolution: this game on PS3 still has more detail than some current gen games...

The slightest improvements will make it even better... and FYI, the game is set to Release July 29th 2014

I had a Xbox 360 last gen, and hoped this would come to PS4. Have it preordered and super pumped. I know most on here have played it, but it's all new for me. Can't wait!!

The last time I connected with the story of a game as much as TLOU was the first time I played FFX. I'll probably get it when I get a PS4 but that probably won't be for a while yet.

To be honest it just looks to have a better resolution. What you'd expect. Hope it has better AA as I noticed just today the PS3 version has some problems with that.

for those who didn't play on ps3 and will play on ps4, there were a lot of spoilers in this video that potentially take away some of the greatness of those moments, and makes you anticipate stuff ahead of time. graphic wise, small difference, but I don't care, will play again.

I think some of the shots were overly blurry on the PS3. It's still rendering in 720p so it shouldn't look THAT bad and in addition to that I've never seen so much black crush on that console ever. Something is not right with this comparison. In any case, playing at 60 fps will make shooting snappier and smoother.

I don't md owning this for PS4. It is a great game that should have been a resale title for it.

I'm sorry but half of those ps3 shots looked a hell of a lot blurrier than they should, I wonder if they used an HDMI cable cable hooked up to the ps3 to get those caps...

Eh. They should have just made a CG movie and sold it for 15$.

I refuse to pay another 60$ over the other 60+extra mission+multiplayer extras and missions I already shelled out for the exact same game.

This is a great purchase for new customers. As for the loyal customers like myself that paid $60 for The Last of Us on PS3 and was hoping for a backwards compatible PS4 not so much.
