@CRAPCOM1926 @Scarab83 But what you're not understanding is how embarrassed Tom (and Gamespot) will be months, even years to come when this game is still considered a masterpiece in its day, and a bar raising experience on multiple levels for video games in the future. I just finished playing it (I know, it's not officially out yet) and I can tell you it's the best game I have ever played in my entire life. And I've been around since the Atari days.

Take a game like SMG2, they gave it a 10/10 a very good game, but someone could hate mario games, therefor they'd give it a 6/10 or 7/10
So yaa Ratings mean nothing, unless it is a mass amount of reviewers giving it a bad score like E. T for example then yaa might be best to avoid it lol but at least try it out

I only play the hardest difficulty. I enjoy challenging myself. Unlike some other people who like everything handed to them.

@CRAPCOM1926 @Zacmaccraken So will the Last of Us. Should gamescores be based on how HUGE a success it is? By that logic, COD4 and MW2 was a HUGE success. Not attacking why they gave an 8 for the LOS, but pointing out your two-faced logic.

@CRAPCOM1926 @Zacmaccraken SMG 2 sucked balls! The game did NOTHING to improve the mario formula, it was all the same , over and over. And they've been doing this from over 20 years!! The last of us, is an ORIGINAL IP!!! And that SHOULD MEAN something!!! Mario is crap, it's like listening to punk rock music!! Never evolving!!
