Personally I never understood the controversy about sex and romance in games, as there is far worse on cable TV and movies. Yet when games try to put in even the slightest bit of sex appeal, if only for story reasons or even ambiance, its treated as smut and attacked, labeled as porn. I'm looking at you Fox News for trying to slander Mass Effect over nothing.

Well, that somehow brightened up my lunch break. Entertaining, informative, and funny. I was a bit surprised, however, that no dating simulators were mentioned -- although I guess they aren't quite as popular outside of Japan (where a guy married his virtual girlfriend, if I recall correctly. Great video with a lot of funny moments. Well done! I think sex is very important in many of the examples in this video. I play LSL as much for the humor as for the sexual innuendo, often the same in the game. Lucas Kane and Ethan Mars would most likely have a mental breakdown long before the end of the game if they couldn't blow off some steam. Where else would you get those few extra red orbs in God of War? If you see any hot Anime girl but don't want to see any skin, you are crazy. I don't really have any good reasons for sex in ME, DA, or GTA, but the games just wouldn't be the same without them. Sex adds a bit of spice and sometimes much-needed relief to story driven games, whether you need to save all organic life in the universe or trapped in a serially homicidal nightmare. It reminds us what we are fighting for and gives us one more reason to survive. These games are a world apart from porn. Google "hentai game" and the nay-sayers would understand.

BORING

I just recently finished playing Mass effect 2 again in preparation for the next installment. I had just encountered the Tali love scene, when my room mate walked in from work - I felt like I was caught red handed. This guy had never played a Mass effect and only saw what I played of it, which wasn't much since he worked. Low and behold my Shepard is making close diplomatic relations with a Quarian. Embarrassing.

I was worried, when i read he target that this would be a poor excuse to show boobies; i wouldn't have been disappointed but wouldn't have felt like it was worth watching (i have the rest of the internet for that). Good article. Also Bluffer is my hero.

Loved it! Great commentary that was poignant yet still light hearted and fun. These are the most entertaining features on Gamespot.
