After god knows how many years ppl were hoping for this game you think we would care about graphics? what a joke! i only played duke nukem for the nintendo 64 and i loved it! Thank you so much 2K games!

Yeah and Doom is a Wolf3D clone. Duke3D stood out because Duke was real. Duke had personality. And Duke3D was set in real world enviorments, not a maze of vaulted doors and bricks. Doom was boring, but Duke and the locations he traveled made the game entertaining.

I think everyone forgets that Duke Nukem 3D was just a DOOM clone with serious humor. Duke Nukem Forever may just be a Halo clone, but it's clear from the demo it hasn't lost it's serious sense of humor ([soldier 1] step 3 is uh.. uhh... [soldier 2] Profit?). Also, Duke 3D in the 90s was meant to be taken somewhat seriously. Now in the 21st century you gotta play a duke game like any Leslie Nielson movie. Duke's gonna be totally serious about how badass he is, but if you remember the juxtaposition of it all it's hilarious!

@godly-adam that was kinda the point i was making. without any of the rpg element mass effect is just a shooter if taking the logic of killerkrish1983.

this is very disappointing . you can tell by game play and graphic . but hell its Duke as others mentioned . I was 15 back when they released 3D . wow remember how excited we were at school to see sexy hot babes in fps . so don't care about how bad the production value is , King is back baby .

for people saying this is going to suck or gamespot will probably give it a bad review. i dont care personally. there is nothing thats going to stop me from getting this game and getting a 'duke nukem' from my girlfriend while i play it.

@Vicsporche i had a little lag spike here and there but its been smooth for about 95% of the demo cant say i like the effects.... but then i just turnt it off. if your useing steam go into the games settings and verify the files since mine had a corrupt file that might be the problem.

Looks like hell of a fun... "You are the disease and i am the cure." Buying this for sure...

Anyone played the demo yet or try to, cause i'm having HORRRRRRRRIBLE lag, I can't even start the game because of it, and none of my other games are lagging, wondering if anyone else having this issue?
