Control & Hitman On Switch, No Man's Sky Next-Gen Upgrades, & Xbox Backwards Compatibility | Save State

Nintendo announced that Hitman 3 and Control will both be available to play on the Nintendo Switch via the cloud, No Man's Sky is getting free next-gen upgrades, and Xbox Series X and S can officially play every Xbox One game.

Nintendo held a Mini Direct and revealed that Control: Ultimate Edition and Hitman 3 will be playable on Switch. Control is available to play right now, you just need a Nintendo Online Account to stream the game to your console. Hitman 3 will be available when it launches in early 2021.

No Man's Sky is getting free next-gen upgrades when the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S launch in November. There'll be various improvements, including better textures, bigger base building, and multiplayer sessions with up to 32 players. The PS5 has extra enhancements to take advantage of the DualSense controller.

Xbox has announced that, bar some Kinect games, every game that worked on Xbox One via backwards compatibility will now work on Series X and S. For all the latest about next gen consoles, be sure to watch Generation Next every Friday on GameSpot.com or youtube.com/GameSpot.
