Bungie Is Pushing MMO Features In Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Expansion - GS News Update

Destiny 2's next expansion Shadowkeep will arrive on September 17 and will take players back to the moon, a Destiny 1 location that has not been seen in Destiny 2. The story will feature version of villains that players have fought throughout Destiny and will center on Eris Morn, a Destiny 1 character that disappeared at the beginning of Destiny 2. Shadowkeep will also see new changes to how Destiny 2 plays with Bungie pushing heavily on the RPG side of the game. Bungie has also referred to Destiny 2 as an MMO and have stated to expect a greater emphasis on customizing your character.
