I LOVED MGS4 but felt kind of awkward at first with Octo Camo and not changing to start menu and manually doing it myself. Anyone else feel that way?

too bad mgs4 is ps3 exclusive. sounds like a very good game with a story in it. games should be like this like mass effect and gta 4.

This is about the only reason I would own a PS3. 1 reason isnt worth the $400+ price tag tho. Ill wait for it to come to 360 or PC in a couple years.

u know what. this game is the best game i have ever played. not my favorite, but the best. can anyone out there say anything thats bad about mgs4. didn't think so. if you did, look it up and you'll find your wrong. gow2, i've played it, it's not bad. but who out there can say i didn't like this, this, this, and this. exactly my point. when you play mgs4, you don't think about the good things about it. you just feel that it's... right, or normal. that's why you punks out there that don't know what the f your saying need to f off. i mean, i'm not trying to be a jack @$$. i'm just saying you are. i have lots of friends at my school that say that cod4 is better, and that fc2 is better, and ac is better and bfbc is better and i just want to shoot them down and throw them down a well. i say "why do you think it's better?" they say "it just is."... that's detailed for ya! wow, positive comments on gamespot! I don't own a PS3 but god I wish I did, just to play MGS4. I like movie-games, there's no reason why a great game can't have a great story behind it.

metal gear should have came on the 360. it lost all its potential on a ps3. no one has them cause they don't have as much games

I deenitly agree and i play ALOT of videogames MGS4 was very unique not like any shooter/stealth game i have ever played yes it is frustrating sometimes but thats because its a challenge its not your casual aim and shoot game like CoD or GOW (wich are both great games) and if you havent even played it i suggest you do go to your friends and steal his ps3 lol and they are right about this game being a game-movie and thats how i lik my games, a deep story and i dont care how long it is for m the story is one of the most important things just shooting ppl in a pointless fps doesnt cut it or me :P

I also think i would get mad playing this game, i can't see myself playing this game because i like shooters, but i don't like sort of futuristic fiction guns and characters. I like more war game shooters that are either modern or historic, preferably WWII games. I would not buy this game. But that does not matter cause i don't have a ps3 i have a 360.

If you want a combination of great story telling and game play, then try out Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, that's the real game of 2008!!!

I agree. The ultimate gaming experience for 08. The story alone would keep me playing this game even if the game play wasn't as good as it is.

It's Sad that Oblivion didn't make it, Or It couldn't count because it wasn't made this year. But GTA and MGS are both pretty good.

this is the best game ever, but that doesn't mean it's not annoying as hell at times, and also has very little re-play satisfaction.

grats mgs4! one of the best games i've played. this game should inspire devs to optimize their game to the better console. though game companies need money so they go multiplatform, gamers are looking for superior quality like mgs4. i wish all gamers could play this masterpiece. buy a ps3!

imo dead space pwns all of these games (well...maybe fallout 3 is as good), but thats just my opinion and all grats goes to msg for winning. It does look like a really awesome game. But the sound effects are kinda turning me off it, and when you die the guy that says your name sounds like a turd.

For me the story is everything. Fancy graphics is like sticking Brad Pitt in a bad movie - great to look at but what about the story?

its not fair that MGS4 is not available for pc. I'm thinking on buying ps3 just for that game
