Great potential for good stealth game but final product lack in too many areas.

When i first got this game i was quite into it but now when im reviewing this, i haven't been playing this game for several months, until now. (Pretty sure im on the last levels of the game, outside hospital and half naked clothing.)

I got fed up with the game controls way before today already but i wanted to give the game more tries and now that i have played many other games on this break from this game, i finally had enough of it.

Like if it isn't stupid enough that every time a guard searches any area in alerted state, their head magically always seem to point to the position where player is.

Stealth movement is also really bad in this game because it is way to slow to "catch" guard if there is such situation that requires you to kill a patrolling guard.
This game has stats system for damage, stealth and health which you can add by collecting collectables throughout the levels. I have stealth maxed so i have the fastest possible stealth movement speed this game has to offer and it is still way too slow in this kind of game. Splinter Cell, Hitman and many other stealth games have much more reasonable stealth speed.

This game has also a wissle function so you can attract guards to certain position but i can't say i have really used the wissle much because the game has so many flaws when in alerted state.
I just witnessed an deja vu in Manhunt. An enemy walked by me inside shadowed area but he did not discover me and game continued. However. In Velvet Assassin when enemy walk by you inside shadowed area they see you.
Rockstar games has made that shadowed area contact so much better but then again you can't really compare a well known developer to completely unknown one.
I can tell you that it is really frustrating because this game is so broken you can't defend your self anyway without gun so you pretty much can only run and hide. Due to this the aim/attack is almost completely useless since you don't get to have firearms that many times.

The aim/attack has been very badly implemented because moving around in that view is very clunky plus killing enemy such way without firearm is way too difficult. Aim-mode is also the only way player can walk in this game (if player choose to) and if you approach an enemy by walking or crouched in aim-mode the enemy hears your foot steps and it's full alert/death. Even if you get close to enemy without aim-mode there is no reason to try to use the aiming, since the instant kill function takes the guard down 100% sure.

This game has had many beautiful scenarious/envirvoments (cities, docks, sewers, gas chambers), great dynamic lightning shows especially when you calibrate your game with in-game options gamma/brihtness bar.
Graphics are also ok for it's time. VA also has quite good sound effects but bad gameplay is where it all goes down.

This was played on Hard difficulty so it is not bad because i would suck. infact not, im actually very good in this but because the game has been developed so poorly and is buggy.
