Vectorman is one of the best games for the Genesis, and will be recognized as a great classic to any old school fan.

Vectorman was my very first platform game, and let me tell you, I had one hell of a time playing it. Even though it's a little short, any Old-School fan will definetly love this, and New-Schooler's could also stand to learn a few lessons from it. The gameplay is amazing. Blasting laser beams out of your hands, changing into all kinds of awesome (and sometimes funny) shapes and forms, jet boosting, and everything else in this game is just plain awesome, addicting, and completely fun to play. It's wonderfully original in every way, and it you should try it out at once. The graphics, at the time, were pretty outstanding. The laser pulses, the background and character designs, and the explosions look awesome. And the way Vectorman looks is pretty sweet, and should be seen to believed. The bosses themselves also look pretty amazing as well. The sound, though, is the best part of the whole game. The one-liners from Vectorman sound amazing, and at times, often hilarious. The explosions and the beams coming out of your hands sound completely astounding, and really puts you on the edge of your seat. The music is the best part, with the riveting guitar riffs and sweet techno dance music (in some levels). Overall, if you want to get back to the good old days of 2D platforming, or just want a good(make that great) action game, then Vectorman is definetly your game.
