Vanquish is a total revolutionary game that simply can't be rivaled! Total adrenaline, total non stop action!
To sum this review up in less words than I'd usually use, Vanquish is truly a game like no other! A 3rd person shooter with a few very awesome new features not done in any other game such as grinding along the ground at very high speeds, instead of simply running, and a slo mo system that is pure fun! You can jump over from cover and with the touch of a trigger, engage the slo mo and enjoy the slaughter you deliver as ou blast bullets while still in mid air, as well as grinding in slo mo which is my personal favorite in the game. However, this entire game is fun in every aspect. There are 8 different weapons in the game, all of which are very fun to shoot and all of which are upgradeable as you play along but the upgrades are very quick and easy and are done in the gameplay with the touch of the right bumper. There are also 2 grenades to carry along, a frag grenade and an EMP grenade. You can only carry 3 different weapons at the same time but its more than enough and the majority of games these days are the same, most games only let you carry 2 guns. There is not a single glitch in the game....well, I haven't experienced any as yet and I'm half way thru the game. The shooting is very fun, so is the cover system and the melee attack is very vicious, especially if you're equipped with the "disk launcher", it shreds enemies to pieces! The camera and controls are very sharp and precise. The whole game is set at a very fast and fluid pace! This game has awesome controller vibration, beautiful cutscenes which also have great vibe in them and very beautiful graphics!

Gamespot gave this a 9....I give it a shiny 10!!! The ONLY thing that could have made this superb game even better, is if it was a bit longer. Apparently the average length of the game is roughly 8 hrs but none the less, this game is definitely not to be missed and a must add to your collection!
