i dont even know myself how many times ive finished this game, because this is so addicting, you keep asking for more, the battle system is impressive, ive never played such type of RPG before but its amazing revolutionary breakthrough from its predecessor the valkyrie profile 1, the eijenhar system, i forgot the correct spelling for it is amazing, you need to collect 20 of them scattered all over the map to help you battle for the Gods or equip them with powerful equipment to perfect release them and use the crystals to boost your strength, magic, and other helpful stats, perfect releasing maybe the reason you want to play more several hours rather than defeating the main boss, you will likely spend your time in the seraphic gate before finishing the game, its a sectret dungeon same in the part 1 where stronger bosses resides, even more powerful than the boss in the main story game, but all the goodies and superb equipment are found in the seraphic gate so if you like to power up your characters this is the place to spend some of your time solving problems and photon puzzles, to get all the strongest weapon of the game
