Great game.

When I played the demo, I felt interested about this game because we can use a shield to take cover from melee attacks and bullets. This is one of the most important elements in this game, we can use the shield when we want but it doesn't make the game too easy, because when the enemy hit us with a melee attack they move our shield away from our face so we can take more damage, and we can be attacked from both sides and the back.
The graphics are very well done, even if the game is for PS2, I like them. And we can see a lot of details like when we blow up the head of a "burner" or when an explosion or an helicopter does it. Well the blood effects are very well done.
Other important element here is the pistol and the flashlight. I mean the light effects are very well done because when we use the light of the pistol, we will only see what the light is aiming. So when we are in places like these, it is better to use the shield when we are going to lean in a corner.
The weapons are very good too, we have a lot of weapons to choose: fire weapons, explosive and melee weapons and non-lethal weapons. And after we complete a mission we earn an special mission where we can get new weapons if we complete it too. Also we can get weapons upgrades and armor upgrades just by earning medals during all the missions. For example: we can earn the detective medal if we get all the gang masks in one mission, we can get another one if we do a certain amount of head shots, and we can get another one if we arrest a certain amount of gang members by the using of non-lethal weapons.
Well I enjoyed a lot this game. If you get it, I hope you like it.
