You start with a small gun. You use that gun to blow five people's brains out all over the floor. You get a bigger gun.
Each time you play through the level it feels new and rewarding. It's basic formula is that you play through a level and at the end if you fulfill special objectives you earn a medal. Earn 3 medals and get a new bigger shinier gun. The medals are Non-lethal Enforcer (Tazer so many bad guys), Sharp Shooter (Get so many head shots), Survivor (Finish the levels without using any but the starting checkpoint), and Detective (Find five gang masks). Getting medals is incredibly addictive and encourages you to play on harder modes to unlock more medals. I would recommend it to anyone. The graphics are excellent with the only let down being the cartoonish blood and the fact when head shotted people are left with a small cone. The sound is good with many of the enemies shouting at you. Also included in the game is system link multiplayer. Unfortunately lacking a system link cord I can't rate it. However it looks exciting with one team playing as gang members who have powerful weapons and the other as police who have a riot shield.
