Maybe I might be bias when I say I love Urban Champion since it was one of the few NES games I played as a kid, but this game is not as bad as it is said. Urban Champion brings me back many nostalgia memories. As repetitive the game sounds to be, I quite enjoyed and still enjoy this game. It can be played in 2 player mode which gives a competition amounts other gamers and quite be challenging. It's a great short game to be played against other players as minigame competition reasons or used to pass the time when one does not want to play hardcore games and just wants to amuse with something.
The 3D Pixel effects are great despite what people really say. The game displays similar graphics to Scott Pilgram and if you are a Nostalgic Player than you will fall in love with the image.
I personally hate repetitive games but NES games do never get old. You need to be realistic when reviewing games, you can't compare the NES with the modern gaming that's currently out there.
I recommend people to at least try Urban Champion and give it a chance before bashing it to total destruction.
