Soon you will be begging for games like this. Amazing! Over 1000 hours of play, maybe more! And I wish it ran on vista.
I played this game in the golden age of PC games, I played it until my eyes bled and my back broke starring at the screen, the battles get epic, missiles flying everywhere blaster shots filling the screen and you can watch this from a distance or engage in the direct fray of the battle, just shot down a bomber and watch it go down as it spines over your head into its fiery demise. The amount of weapons your super tank can carry is impressive to say the least, countless kinds of missiles and guns:
Flamethrower, blasters, hive missiles, heavy rockets, mole torpedoes, mines, heat seeking missiles…..etc and the sheer amount of useful upgrades for you and your army will force u to choose between that awesome new missile or that awesome new tank class for you entire galactic army.
The missions are MANY and fun and VERY challenging, and let's say you will not go brain dead when you play ANY mission because it only takes one good assault to send you and your base to the next life.
Graphics LOL they are 3D don't worry but they are old, but trust me this game can still kick some of the new 2010 garbage they make now. The explosions and sounds will make you duck for cover if u turn the volume up, and you will want to have victory in ur campaign.
You will fight in lush tropical worlds, deserts, ice waste lands, urban planets, volcanic planets, wide flood plains. Forts, turret emplacements, bomb bays…, and many other things will stand in ur way and if u don't strike quickly u will be overwhelmed.
All I have to say is that pretty soon all the serious gamers out their will return to these amazing classics crying for a fix, you will beg for it and you will curse the day the PC game industry lost its soul.
Play this game, worship it, study it, and most importantly enjoy it (u will)
