What's up, everybody? The last game I reviewed here was "The Last Of Us" & made by Naughty Dog. This time, it's Uncharted 4: A Thief's End for Playstation 4. The story takes place after the events of Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception. It's about Nathan Drake (supposed retired treasure hunter), his big brother Samuel & longtime friend Sully searching for Captain Henry Avery's treasure. The game was universally praised by gaming industry & community. They loved it for phenomenal campaign, graphics, cut scenes, good platforming (climbing & etc) & online competitive mulitplayer. Some folks felt it was completely overrated, somewhat flawed & not an masterpiece like most gaming critics say. I didn't read any articles playing the game. It took me about 17 hours, 22 minutes & 31 seconds to complete the game (normal mode). Do I think this game the greatest of 8th generation video game era? Is it overrated? Stick around to find out.
Pros
+Storyline/plot
+Gameplay
+Platforming
+Voice acting
+Using grappling hook/rope is nice
+Ally A.I. (Sam, Sully or Elena) isn't useless, but...
+Graphics, but....
+Naughty Dog didn't force me to care the characters like "The Last Of Us"
+Epilogue
Cons
-Bullet sponge enemies
-Bad competitive online multiplayer
-No Co-Op until later this year
-Quick Time Events
-Less puzzles in Uncharted 4 (there are 9 of them)
-Software errors in treasure count (I've that issue)
-Less strategy in terms of dealing with the enemy
-Stealth elements are laughable
-More of an movie than a video game, again (look at The Last Of Us)
Uncharted 4 A Thief's End is a good game. In fact, it's the best game on the Playstation 4. I won't take anything away from it. Here me out, people: anytime a game is an poor man's Gears Of War 3/Call Of Duty clone type of an competitive online multiplayer, less puzzles, little to no strategy on dealing with enemies, trashy stealth elements & rather watch an movie, Uncharted 4 isn't flawless like most people are saying. If you're an Uncharted fan, you'll love this game to pieces. I'd rent or borrow the game before spending $60 dollars. Thanks for reading.
