Campaign and Multiplayer are better in Uncharted 2.
The multiplayer mode on U3 is a little more balanced, but is much more run-n-Gun, more CoD style.
I prefer the platforming on Uncharted 2, even multiplayer.
Buy Uncharted 2, since U3 has very little to add except a few kickbacks and abilities added to the multiplayer that removed much of the simplicity of Uncharted 2.
The story in Uncharted 3 is not bad for being short, it is without depth, without bosses, the campaign ends and gets a feeling of "I want more."
They removed much of the campaign so wonderful Uncharted 2, to ensure items not so useful in multiplayer, added in Uncharted 3.
Added other abilities on multiplayer that have withdrawn the simplicity of Uncharted 2.
Buy Uncharted 2, much better game, from the fantastic story to the simplicity of the multiplayer. U3 is very run and gun.
Uncharted 3 is a good game, but I sold mine and bought the Uncharted 2 again.

Good:
-Great level design
-Amazing presentation(Graphics, Audio and Voice acting)
-A little more balance in multiplayer
Bad:
-Uncharted 2 has a better story (and Tenzin)
-Platforming is heavily scripted
-No choices
-Too much linear adventure
-Too much CoD run-n-gun style on multiplayer mode
-Too short campaign
