A RPG that everyone seems to have forgot.

Ultima: Quest of the Avatar(Ultima IV) is perhaps one of the most unique rpg's ever. Most all rpg's have you gaining levels and becoming more powerful to fight a great evil that plagues the lands. This one is an exception. This game has you becoming the Avatar and you must acheive Avatarhood through good actions and finding various runes, stones, etc. It again takes place in Britainnia with Lord British as your guide and leader. You set out in a very large world full of towns, shrins, and dungeons. There are eight different allies you can choose to join you in your quest of becoming the Avatar but you can only have a party of four so choose wisely! It's another rpg were you level up but its not one in which you find yourself constantly grinding for xp. You spend most of your time going to different towns, talking to locals, searching for various items, doing good deeds, and gaining access to shrines. But that doesnt mean you dont do a great deal of fighting along the way. There are two modes of travel, moon portals and ships. It's a very complex rpg and is just a lot of fun. I recommend it to any rpg fan and especially NES rpg fans such as myself.
