I am a huge MMA fan, the game is very good but it gets boring real fast and the online play ruined it for me.
Also i like how the signature moves and how fighters actually strike and take down opponents like their real life counterparts ,but some aspects of the animations are unrealistic and just don't animate smoothly but the character models are photo like .
This game has the best commentary of any sports game to date ,and the sounds are pretty good .
The one player modes are easy even on the highest difficulty for me but they reward players who know the sport and i think the difficulty is just right but the game plays unrealistic ,for example you can land 5 flush head kicks on the computer opponent and know knockout occurs .
My biggest problem with this game is the online play ,these "one on one fighter games" are at its best when you can play a human opponents online and that experience is horrible .Lag is ridiculous and so many fights lose connection,and that's why i labeled this game boring because the one player experience is shallow and repetitive .It is unacceptable for the online play to be so bad and the reason i purchased this game is to enjoy fighting human opponents online.
This is a very good game don't get me wrong ,but the online competition is what make "one on one" fighting game's enjoyable and they screwed that up,hopefully next year they will correct that and i am looking foward to EA sport's MMA i think they will get the online aspect right.
