One of the Nintendo's 2-Player legends, in Trog you're a dinosaur out to collect eggs, and protect yourself from cavemen

User Rating: 9.7 | Trog! NES
Trog is a fantastic two-player Nintendo game, with a combination of Cooperative and Competitive gameplay.

You play as a Blue or Yellow dinosaur (depending one whether or not it's One Player or Two Player mode) and, collecting eggs in the familiar style of Pac-Man collecting dots, you roam various islands, dodging pits, keeping an eye out for Level Warps, and defending yourself against the cavemen who would just as soon make you their next meal.

In Two Player mode, if the caveman knocks your fellow dinosaur out, you still have a chance to save them, for a brief period of time before the proverbial (and somewhat literal) fork is stuck in your jurassic companion.

There are also bonus rounds to see whom can collect more eggs, and at the end of every level you will be graded on your performance, with a cute close-up of your satisfied dinosaur.

Classic Gamers who enjoy an arcade-style game with a very well-rounded sense of progressive difficulty and a more than satisfactory two-player experience, should look for a copy of this game.
