Great game for kids, but possibly too hard for some in story mode.
Lets start with toy box mode, the part of the game that was highly advertised. This was extremely fun. You basicaly go around, doing missions for various toys, wether it be taking a certain picture, or helping them find a friend, all the way to throwing one of them off a platform in the air cuz they are too scared to dive into the lake themselves.
Toy Box mode is where my daughter has spent 90% of her gametime playing, that pretty much says it all when it comes to the mode of the game where most people will center on.
As for story mode, it follows the movie for the most part, adding in more of the imagination end of it where the toys actualy can do what they are "imagined to do". such as Buzz being able to fly(or glide at least with his thrusters) and such.
However, story mode can be a bit hard for some of the younger crowd of this game. But with toy box mode to distract them, I don't think any of the young ones will complain much about having problems getting past certain story mode aspects of the game.
