Who knew killing zombies by poking them would get boring?

My initial reaction to this game was tepid. It had a great idea - bring that old-school arcade shoot-em-up feel of games to a console that it would work on- but the game doesn't live up to it's full potential. Gamespot is right about one thing. It just doesn't seem right (or fair!) that some zombies will just pop up out of seemingly nowhere and chew through most of your health bar within a very short period of time. Due to the game's rather obnoxious difficulty, i've never actuall finished the game. Though there ARE a few good points in the game's favour. The controls are basically a on-the-rails shooter style of play, so there's no need to continually mome and shoot, the simple tap to blast zombies control is fun, and a few of the boss fights are nice, but the game just isn't all that interesting or fun. I can't really recommend this to anyone.
