a good improvement in the Total War Series!
The RPG Options to improve your generals and agents (as well as your MP Avatar) to your liking are very motivating and help the replayability. Also the return of the Clan Management and the improved Diplomacy are good additions.
As well, as the whole multiplayer part seems like a great addition, and i say this as someone who seldom favors MP. Hopefully they can adress some bugs, which are atm still disturbing the fun a bit.
On the "would have been nice" side, some more different units wouldn´t have hurt, but the system and balance work quite well, as it is. Same with the special resources most provinces have. This helps in the end to an even more strategic gameplay.
The one thing which gives a bit of a minus is - once again - the KI, which still lacks in different areas. I´ve rarely met a good defended city, which wouldn´t even help, since the KI can´t do anything useful when defending. They only sit in the castle and wait to get shot from your archers.
