okay, im aware this game came out a while ago now, but i waited this long just to see if it aged well...it does not. i played it often when it first came out, hoping that i would get use to it..but it never happened. then i stopped playing for about a year and went back to it when i fancied a bit of hack and slash strategy fun. i did not get this...again. first off, there are too few options on the campaign map. its dull and boring, i hated having to do anything on the campaign map, it just seemed like everything they did in this in this aspect was a massive backward step. its annoying to say the least. second, when you play for long enough(a stuggle in itself) and you capture alot of provinces, it becomes nothing but a hassle trying to manage them all. i would have liked to see an option where if you control a number of settlements in one area, you can handle them all from one point. it would take away a lot from the annoying time wasting aspect of the game. third, and my most hated, is during the battles. i understand that they wanted some realism in the game i.e routing when losing battles, but when you have units of 118 men running away(only 2 deaths overall) it takes away alot of fun. i just got annoyed over and over again. i fielded an army of 600 troops, and i lost, mainly due to the fact that most of my troops ran at the first sign of conflict. worse than that, the enemy troops never seem to rout themselves until there are only about 2 of them left. it just seems like a stupid piece of a.i. anyway thats it. enjoy playing this crapfest...if you can stand it, i salute you. you are a trooper
