User Rating: 8 | Total Overdose: A Gunslinger's Tale in Mexico PC
Total Overdose is a sweet game which every brawler lover should buy.
It has great (though little shallow) slow motion gunplay. Cool Latino soundtracks which brings out your inner Gangsta and some good replay value for weeks to enjoy.

Total Overdose is not a story driven game and the story lacks depth but the setting is quite good. But what is best in the game are the specialty (loco) moves such as a 360 degree SMG fire or a 5 bullet golden gun which automatically does head shots which though make the game supernatural but are darn fun to play.

Weapons, health and adrenaline (juice for slow-mo) is upgraded through a tedious coupon system which are found lying on the ground , mid air or above buildings which might not attract many hardcore players but acts as an incentive to explore this open world's game MEXICO

the soundtracks are really sweet taken from Molotov but the voice acting is not as characters only move lips without emotion or even raising their eyebrow. The major demerit of this game is it's graphics and their glitches .It looks good on the PS2 is still detail free and boxy.

Explosions are satisfying and the auto targeting is easy for even the modest game players. It picks up a lot of from GTA with any time story missions. A large number of side missions are playable with a bit less variation but are still less.

The game's length is not very long but the side missions compensate it. Once completed ,you can play any Story or side mission which is recommended.

You will also explore a jungle , DEA HQ , U.S Border (oh yeah!) and many more besides the vividly set up mexico, so don't think it's the incredible hunk on the PS2 .It's much better than that.

Overall Total Overdose is a game which brings sheer fun best when one is tired from a day's work .It may look the best game ever on paper but it is not.Just don't look too nearly and enjoy the slow motion fun gunplay and loco move.
