Just what you'd expect from the man (Tony Hawk) himself. Great game.
Career: That's where the meat of the game is. In this mode, you unlock movies, parks, and tricks. One of the most interesting things about Career is that's where competitions are held. Rio, Skater Island and Tokyo are where they are held.
Single Session: This mode is really lame. It's a timed run, you have two minutes to bust out your moves. This is a letdown you wouldn't expect to be heard from me.
Free Skate: A practice mode with endless possibilites. Impress your friends, annoy innocent bystanders in Los Angeles park, grind down the rails of Tokyo, clear missions from career without earning anything, and, most importantly, practice.
2 Player: Watch your temper! This mode introduces the "Head Smack" trick, allowing players to attack each other and scrape their heads off the pavement. If you have a fear of blood, do not use this move.
Overall: Maybe the PS2 version rocked, but this is not putdownable. Do not play this game if you fear blood, once again.
