The story is you are some generic skater going to L.A. to get away from his family and cops. so preety much you are a loser. You quickly get into this wood mess skate park, so decide to build it from stuff that you break and steal from the city. Kinda like THUG2 where it was more about breaking stuff than other things.
A BIG thing about THAW that neversoft won't shut up about is: no loading. This works by having doors seperating city parts and open up quickly when approached, making it a fluid motion.

This is a perfect example of rushing a game, the whole streaming thing could all be avoided if more time was spent, like GTA.
Graphics: Boil down to a nearly impossible look that could have come out years ago, or a technacal term called ''Dated''
Sound: Again nothing knew. Still has the same thing that could have been fixed like the bad voice overs.
Gameplay: Any slightly experianced fans will go through the game with no challenges. This game is way to easy.
Bottom Line: Tony Hawk fans will get it and proboly love it anyway.
But people who are just looking for a fun time and what something different will be left out cold.
