Always when I hear the name Tomba, or Tombi, I get flashbacks... One of my very first PS-one games.

I should call Tombi! platform-puzzle-roleplaying-action game, because it's a little bit all of those. Anyway, the story is that, evil pigs has stolen Tombi's grandfathers bracelet, and Tombi is off to kick some butt! Later he gets to know about the world's oldest men, who might help him to defeat the evil pigs. He has to get all the evil pig bags and then defeat the pig bosses. It's not really that simple, because you must do hundreds of side quests to proceed. One of the weirdest things happens in the mushroom world, where you'll have to pass through mushrooms, who are trying to defeat Tombi. There are two kind of mushroom which Tombi can eat. If you eat brown mushroom, Tombi starts crying, and then the mushrooms start crying too. If you eat white ones, Tombi starts laughing, and then of course, the mushroom's laugh too. It sound's pretty creepy, I mean that Tombi eat's mushrooms what makes he laugh. Of course I didn't think about that much back then, because I was so small. All right, let's talk about other places in the game. There is a windy place, lighting place, village full of leaf, and much more. Every place has it's own Evil Pig. Here's how works: There's a fire cave, where you can't go any further than the entrance. You'll have to do a few side quests so that you can obtain a red Evil Pig bag, so that you can fight the Fire Pig. After you defeat him, the fire in the cave goes off, and you can pass through, cool huh? Or was it the green pig, I dunno. Anyway, you'll have to restore every village, and their people to proceed. While playing, you will obtain weapons from boomerangs to swinging ropes. You'll also learn to swim, and after a little while, you'll learn to swim under surface. You'll also get new pants, (I know it sounds weird) such as jumping pants, running pants, and all that. You will also obtain magic wings, which will take you to places where you have been before.
The side-quests are funny: ''Give me as much cheese as you can get in your adventure!" "I think I lost my pants, will you find them for me?" and "Drive with that car and get as much point's as you can, but beware the gas meter!". Sometimes you have no idea where are you suppose to go, and what should you do, but it can help if you look at your quest log. The music is also good and very creative. Tombi! is an awesome adventure game, played with a pink haired, aggressive and funny dude defeating the cute Evil Pigs! I loved that game when I was small, and I love it even now!
