Over the course of the past few years my commitment to video games has waned. I still pick up each new title that has been deemed worthy by the general community, and I play that for a bit, but my desire to 'beat' any particular game just isn't there anymore. I inevitably just end up back online playing Battlefield 3.

However, within the passed 6 months 2 games have been released that brought me back to a time when I genuinely enjoyed the single player campaign. So much so that I couldn't wait till the next day so I could continue playing. In December that was Far Cry 3. And now this week it is Tomb Raider.

I am about 65% through the game, and I have loved every minute of it. The most recent TR release combines a brilliantly engaging story mixed with eye catching graphics and easy to manage game-play. It is the perfect mix for your average action gamer fan.

I highly recommend.
