I wasn't sure what to expect at first. Splinter Cell Essentials got bad reviews, but I got it anyway, and wasn't dissapointed. The missions are just like the games, no better, no worse. The gameplay is great. There are a few graphical problems, like seeing through Sam's head. Also, the levels are pretty dark. That's why there's nightvision people! The guns sound cheap, but otherwise the voices sound fine. You can go back and play any mission you have beaten. And don't listen to people talk about the camera. You can change the scheme, making it even easier. Sure it's a little clunky, but hey. Who freakin cares if it's a good game? The only control issue is the control of Sam's guns is kind of undersensitive, making it hard sometimes to get a good shot.
