A good, if somewhat difficult to learn, game for the Splinter Cell Series.

What can I say about this game? It is one of the best games i've played on the psp. The one thing I don't understand is why every one dislikes it. Every game has it's problems, and this one is no exception. Without a doubt, the camera was the biggest problem for me. I blame this problem on Sony more than on Ubisoft. Since the psp has only one analog stick, it's very hard to control the camera since you have to stop and hold the circle button down. This can make it very hard when running from enemies and trying to see where they follow your shadows or trying to see around corners without getting caught. Another major problem was the fact that the game was very dark. Most of the game was spent night-vision green. I never played the multi-player modes, so you'll want to listen to gamespot on that one. I personally believe that the graphics were very good, mostly because I realized long ago that the psp CANNOT, I repeat, CANNOT produce XBox360 graphics. The graphics are equal to the N64 at best. The sound is done to perfection. The missions are nostalgic Missions from past Splinter Cell games, with some new ones which will probably be in the new console Splinter Cell, Double Agent. Voice acting is good with some minor slow downs and skips. Unlike Chaos Theory, this one is less linear. There is still the option to break locks with your knife, go different ways to your objectives, and the like, but it retains the three alarms and game over, or kill a civilian and game over theory. This can make it difficult because you have to be careful unlike in Chaos Theory where it was more careless than that. For a first time on the psp, I think that Ubisoft has done a fine job, just like they usually do. Make it a rental, only for the fact that it's short.
