How about a SAVE GAME feature?

Dear Ubisoft

There is this odd feature many games have that apparently you have never heard of. It's called "Save Game" and there is also a "Load Game" function that goes along with it.

Now I realize this is a radical idea for you as you seem think people play a game for hours on end but some of us have these things called "lives" and our we only get 10 or 20 minutes at a time to play a game.

This "Save Game" function would allow us to play for a bit then continue when we get more time thus making the game an enjoyable experience.

Your current setup seems to involve very long missions many of which the checkpoints do not save the game and thus the mission must be replayed several times. This creates a negative experience.

It would be also nice if the controls and keyboard customizations actually worked in PC but hey let's not get ahead of ourselves.

You guys do make the games with the most potential but you endlessly fall short. I gave up on Assassin's Creed, Deus EX was ok, but this latest incarnation of splintercell needs work to say the least. Very buggy.

What I don't understand is why you don't build a game architecture that you can base all of these games on so that the bugs can be worked out over each generation of the new games. Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell have similar mechanics (shooting, stealth, climbing walls, etc... ) and the Deus Ex franchise could benefit from that as well. That however would require planning... so not expecting anything there.
