A great game that's is difficult but still easy to play...2 hours to get good, a lifetime to get great.

When I played the first Rainbow-Six game I was amazed...FINALLY a game that actually thinks about "you can't do that", "how many bullets actually kill someone", etc... Rogue Spear was epic as well but still not the original. From 3 on it felt more like a shooter and I was gravely disappointed. Now even this one disappoints me in it's realism, not as real as the original not by a long shot.
Now don't get me wrong I'm not dissing the game, even though it's not as realistic it's still FAR more realistic than COD, but keeps some shooter elements to be accessible for everyone. This does a great job of blending realism for fans of the series while keeping it dumbed down for new players of the series. The only TRUE DOWNSIDE I can find of the game is that it's not going to have to many fans. True 100% diehards abandoned the series long ago and noobs are too twisted by COD's run&gun antics that they are going to play like that online.
It's a shame but we may be seeing the death of a series...there are still going to be RS games but they won't be TRUE rainbow six games...do you truly understand?
