Challenging yet entertaining

This game took my by surprise. How fun could waiting for a square or triangle to turn red before pushing space bar? Well to my surprise it was rather engaging with small waves of units coming from all over the map. The missions were engaging and often had a change or twist as some new development would happen during your prior mission. There isnt much storyline, rather just enough to get you through the missions. No spectacular movies or cut scenes either. However, there is a ranking system that you can level up through by performing routine and legendary feats which is always an A+ in my game book. You can also level up by playing multiplayer and there are achievements there as well. There are more than 20 different planes to choose from with different payloads that you can unlock. The only downside to this game for me is flying in assistance off mode as the camera angle is just absurd. It aggitates me sort of like how awesome Resident Evil was as a game but walking back and forth through the same door several times because of the way the controls were wears on you...yeah same thing. All in all if you want to play a great jet fighter game this is it.
