For fans of the series this game is great and it follows the movie somewhat
The voiceovers are really good and are familiar to those that have seen the movie as well. The graphics are very crisp and detailed which was suprising but much appreciated.
Going through the game, you play as one of the turtles, Raph, Leo, Mikey, or Don, depending on your style or the level. There are plenty of stunts to master, such as wall jumping, wall running, double jumps, pole swings,etc.
Each turtle also has their own special move to cross terrain along with their own fighting style. Me? I prefer Leo.
In certain parts of each level, you encounter enemies to battle to move on to the next part. The baddies you fight aren't too challenging, but it gives you the chance to test out and get the feel for each of their combos. After winning, you get a battle rating based on how many hits you took. Better performance, better rating.
Aside from all the action of the story, there are extras you can unlock by collecting coins in each level. You can buy cheats or artwork or both if you have enough.
Overall, I'd say rent it first to see if you like it or not. The game has its charm for awhile but afterwards it's up to you to keep playing. Either way, enjoy!
