Was Great as an arcade game, still fun on the PS2

I've spent god knows how much at who knows how many arcades playing this game. I still love playing it at home. Now with the rescue missions, I am still enjoying this game even more.

Over the years, I've decided to only play peripheral games and the Time Crisis games on PS2 are the examples of why light gun games are worth buying.

This game doesn't have much story line and you're not going to spend hours upon hours just to complete one pass through the game, although it might take you a few tries. This is not for the MGS or FF type gamer.

Pros:
1) Innovative way to select alternative ammo
2) fun bosses
3) Minimal story line, maximum game play

Cons:
1) enemies are predictable
2) still on rails
3) no way to play through the complex rescue missions individually (there's a lot and it takes a long time)
