Same ole' TW, Now with a better Wardrobe.
Okay, lets talk about sound. The only performer that I regonize is Dave Mathews, which I don't mind at all. They don't have custom soundtracks option in this game, wich is a shame. In-game enviromental sounds realy add depth to this title. You can hear the wind through the trees, birds chirping, & the roar of the crowd when you hit that perfect shot. Realy well done.
Gameplay is excelent! I love the Rivals mode in which you travel back & fourth through various eras & challenge the likes of Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, & the great Jack Nicklaus. The season mode is back with its usual 10 year format. 15 golf courses to play on with some real-life courses like Pebbel Beach, St. Andrews, & TPC at Sawgrass. But I have one gripe, there is no tiger proofing mode on this game! In the words of WWE Superstar Carlito, "That's not cool!" And , of course, RTE Mode is back. It wouldn't be a true TW game without this mode.
Finally, the controls are now even better than before! They have added dual analog control to this game. Swing the club with the left analog stick, & control the striking placement with the right stick. Also, they applied the same controls to putting as toother shots. I find that this is a really solid control scheme. Easier to use & learn.
All in all, a very, very solid golf game.
