By far one of the best games ever made.

As can be concluded from the other reviews I make, I tend to only review games that I like.

Well, to be honest, that is the truth, and words of praise are no exception for a game like this.

Thief 2 is a game I've gotten 6-7 years ago, and a game that I will never forget.

Taking the role of Garrett, the master thief, you go through a set of missions that were, interestingly, first made and then the story was fit to them.
And what a story it is.

Thief is one of those series that just captures the player, makes him think about the story, the plot, the character, the environment, makes him think like he himself is Garrett, and most importantly, digs through the players mind while he tries to figure out why this or that happened.

Thief 2 is a stealth-based game, where you rely on your surroundings, the darkness of the night and your instincts. You're given a wide array of tools with which you move through your mission, finish your objective.

A thief is no murderer. The job is to get in, get the job done and get out.

I was absolutely amazed not only by the story, but with the detail in the cutscenes and ofcourse, the detail in the gameplay. Monitoring enemy movement, slipping through the shadows, windows, rooms, knocking enemies out, stealing, finding secret corridors...

I think I'll just stop here. I can go on about this game 'til eternity and I still won't be able to describe how much of a masterpiece it is.

If you ever come across this game, buy it.
You will not regret a single coin.

What is hidden...
...can be found.
What is yours...
...can be mine."
