More About Story/Dialogue Than Gameplay

User Rating: 7 | The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition PS4

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is the first game I've ever played. Therefore, I don't know anything about the franchise like most fans do. But, I completed "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" for Playstation 4 today. There's a reason why fans & gamers love it so much: story, characters, music, the world, replay value & etc. Plus, it won numerous gaming awards & considered one of the greatest games of all time. What do I think about "The Witcher 3: WH"?

Pros: Story/plot (Geralt, Yennefer looking for Ciri, protect her from the wild hunt), music, the world (sort of), witcher contract, memorable characters, romance is excellent & replay value (thanks to new game plus).

Cons: Gameplay is awfully flawed, controls isn't smooth, bugs & glitches are ridiculous (Hearts Of Stone's side quest is an good example), swimming mechanics is an pain due to not so smooth controls, broken camera angle playing Ciri for short period of time, gwent card games are dumb, world's too big, TOO MUCH TALKING, weapon durability feature isn't necessary & expensive items (why).

I don't detest the game like small group of gamers do. Is it better than most games out there? Yeah. But, hear me out: anytime an video game feels more like an movie (looking at you, The Last Of Us), not so hot gameplay, questionable controls, more bugs than cheap hotel, unnecessary things (horse racing & gwent card games), you'll get "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt". Oh, it's one of the most overrated video games in the current generation of gaming. Thank you for reading & keep on gaming.
