I always loved The Walking Dead comics, and so I could only hope the game did half of the comic's justice. Boy, was I surprised. The Walking Dead series is a thrilling experience that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Each Chapter is unique in it's presentation, and as you follow the protagonist through his journey you will certainly become attached to his struggle and share his feelings to the point where you will cringe when making certain decisions - almost simultaneously as he does on screen.

The graphics are beautiful and artistic. A lot of work went into them and it certainly shows.

The voice acting is superb overall and the sound effects/musical scores are equally as impressive. The characters really speak with conviction and draws you into their struggles.

The gameplay is your typical adventure series template with some action/timed sequences thrown in for good measure. There are also some elements of FPS/3rd person action are thrown in. Very easy to navigate through the game.

This was actually what kept me from giving this game a perfect score - the puzzles and gameplay were oversimplified. I hope in the next series, they bump it up a notch.

The main reason I would recommend this game is because it has a great story with difficult choices that will heavily influence each chapter and the overall plot. This gives the replay value some actual value. Anyone who is a fan of adventure games should give this one a shot-you won't be disappointed.
