Hallo everyone.
I am a PC gamer for many years but I have to say that this is my first official PC game review.
So, let’s talk about the game now. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.
-How and why I choose to buy and play this game?
First of all I saw the game in YouTube (gameplay) and I was fascinated from the graphics. My next step was to read some reviews and then the choice was easy for me. I have to say that I am just a gamer, not a Professional, but with my gaming experience is easy for me to know if a game is proper for me by watching some YouTube gameplay, and reading some reviews.
-The game and my gameplay experience.
First impression is the Graphics. I have to say that the game has one of the best graphics that I ever saw in a PC game and I am not sure if I can easily find something to compare with. I have to say that I spend some time just watching the beautiful landscapes in this game.
Gameplay and moving around is easy, nothing complicated.
The “puzzles” in this Mystery game (I will name it) were not difficult but not boring too. Some of them were really clever and interesting.
The story of the game was not clear from the beginning but was interesting to follow the story through the game and that keeps you until the end focused and skeptic for what is going on.
The only “negative” point for me was that the game was a bit short and I have to say that I finished it really quick.
-Overall
The game has wonderful graphics and a really nice story. I never felt bored during the game and the combination of graphics, story, gameplay, music makes this game a kind of its own class. Although I don’t have a lot of free time I will play the game with pleasure for second time not only because it is a very nice game but because after the ending, playing the game for a second time makes you see and understand some things you didn’t mentioned at the first gameplay. The only negative point for me is that the game is a bit short.
