Spongebob might be funny, but the talkin aquatic piece of cheese wasn't born for gaming
Well, I don't need to tell you the story if you saw the movie already, but if you wanna know it anyway. The story starts when the new manager or whatever is chosen for the second Krusty Krab. Mr. Crabs chooses squidward over spongebob, which drives spongebob into a depression, because Crabs says that he didn't get it because he is just a boy. After that, Neptune's crown is stolen, and he suspects Mr. Crabs to have stolen it, to allow Mr. Crabs to live, spongebob and patrick set out for Shell City to find the crown, and bring it back, while plankton, taking advantage of it, controls bikini bottom with mind control. Personally, I liked the movie, but....yeah.

Gameplay:
Don't want to be mean to the people who made this, but plain sucks. It's unnispired, and repetitive, only one attack, simple gameplay, jumping and other things. No real fun in that, I struggled to go through the levels. Levels are just platforms and roads, no real thing to fight but repetitive jellyfish and mind controlled fish and such, but nothing new. Maybe kids would love it, and some adults, but if you're like me, and you like control and a decent game experience, this will be one of the worst games you play.

Design:
Taking into count that it was an older game, and that it is based off a Nickelodeon cartoon, it's...just decent. Spongebob looks like himself...in a trance, animation is not the best at times, and the dialogue is..decent, compared to spongebob series, not as good though. If you look for graphics, just buy DBZ Budokai, this game won't satisfy you.
