Classic Sims style and gameplay, but with new twists and add-ons that really makes this game bust out.

The Sims: Bustin' Out is alot better than the original Sims. The "Play the Sims" mode from the first game is here again, but still isn't much different. Only new clothes and more stuff you can buy. But if you want the "play the Sims" mode go for The Sims 2. The bustin' out thing here is the story mode, or called in the first one, "Get a Life".
This time around, story mode is awesome. You can actually drive a car (!) With it, not only can you invite the people over to your place, which is what you'd have to do in the first one, but you can also go visit them yourself (!) But that's only in the story. Also in the story you'll recognize some of the people. The slobs Dudly and Mimi, of corse your mom, and some other "friends" as well are all here.
If you're new to the Sims games, this is a great place to start. If you've only played the first Sims and not the Sims 2, that's also a mojor yes to get this game. On the other hand, if you've already played the Sims 2, you won't have as much fun. But if you're on of the first two, this is a must get.
